So how did a guy who had a day job, clung to his Christian faith, held steadfast to traditional American values, and sidestepped from the vaccination radar end up in the AI realm? A couple of years ago, the firm I worked for embraced the “woke” culture to its core. I was outspoken about my beliefs; let’s say… things didn’t align. The door might have closed, but I saw a wide-open horizon. Unburdened by the 9-to-5 grind, I pondered the future – what was the next big revolution? AI. It was everywhere – in our homes, phones, video games, and even our coffee makers (okay, maybe not that last one…yet).
But here’s the thing – I knew as much about AI as I knew about brewing that perfect cup of coffee (without the AI). The notion of machines outsmarting humans was terrifying. I was the common man, looking into this vast universe of codes and algorithms, knowing I should probably be wary but also asking, “Can I make a buck out of this?”
My Journey Began Without a Retirement Package
Diving deep into the realm of AI was challenging, but I had web design and copywriting under my belt. That and relentless determination led me on a relentless quest for knowledge. Weeks turned into months, and soon, I found myself at the intersection of awe and understanding.
